As a Marketing Specialist s P&O Cruises Australia from October 2022 to July 2024, I managed Onboard Revenue Marketing for three cruise ships, overseeing the marketing needs of retail shops, casinos, spas, photography, and the onboard Adventure Parks. In collaboration with the brand Marketing Department and Design Studio, I developed and implemented marketing campaigns with external stakeholders and supported various internal departments with graphic design, copywriting, editing, and video production. I collaborated with Carnival Australia's social media, marketing, and PR teams to communicate changes and promote offerings. In the process, I played a key role in enhancing the guest experience of the P&O guest app and designing marketing collateral in line with new brand guidelines. Notable achievements include the design of a successful marketing campaign and materials for onboard casinos, significantly increasing bookings, and implementing systems to improve the efficiency and quality of signage updates and tracking.

Over the past 6 years in this role I was the Project Manager and lead designer on a variety of design jobs from Trade Show displays to new product design and packaging. In collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Head of Sales, I also developed and implemented a Digital Marketing and Social Media strategy for the company, taking Elizabeth Richards' Facebook community to 58,174 and Instagram to more than 30,000 followers.

As the Marketing Manager and Design Lead for Pure Fiji's Australian Distributorship, I developed and implemented the company's marketing strategy. This covered everything from print design, web design, event and trade show management to successfully managing the brand's social media presence which includes all content production as well as strategy and planning.

THE SYDNEY ADVENTIST HOSPITAL
As the Principal Graphic Designer for The Sydney Adventist Hospital, I was responsible for liaising with the various departments and stakeholders of the hospital to meet their graphic design needs. Additionally, I was solely responsible for developing a Style Manual/Brand guidelines for the hospital to ensure consistency and cohesiveness in everything from grammatical points to acceptable use of the brand logo and management of the brand assets such as our photo library and photo permissions.

I began my professional journey in 2004 and in the subsequent 20 years, although I have worked under a variety of job titles, what it boils down to is that I have primarily worked as the in-house, one-woman marketing agency for a variety of businesses. I take pride in the work that I do and in finding creative and cost-effective solutions for the marketing, advertising, and design needs of the businesses I work for. Although I am adept at Facebook advertising, SEO, and analytics, I am a firm believer that these should take second place to growing reach and social clout organically through genuine engagement and community-building through marketing and social media strategies!
